19th Century English School Portrait of a Lady

Stunning English oil portrait of a lady set against a moody scene. On one side is the faint hue of leaves from a tree which is hardly noticeable, while on the other, dark blues and greens to form the colors of a landscape. There is a stamp on the back of what I presume is the canvas maker. It read, in part: “52 Rating N. _______ & 20 Oxford Street W. London”. The top of this line is illegible as-well-as parts of the aforementioned. There is also a small remnant of a paper that was once glued to the back of canvas possibly giving artist information. No signature on canvas could be found otherwise and artist attribution is unknown. Sourced from Nottingham, UK.
