A moody study of fruit done in oil on canvas then wrapped on risers; it is framed in a heavy giltwood frame. Overall in a lovely shabby condition where the back risers have left an impression on the canvas, darkness leading to moodiness and some frame damage. On the backside it comes with wire hanger and is ready to mount on the wall. There is a sticker attached that says,

Wolverhampton is located in the UK, but the company is no longer in business and no information could be found about such company. There is also a stamp on the canvas that starts out with "Winston", but could not make out the rest. I also could not locate a signature and the exact origin of the painting is unknown, possibly English or Dutch.
