Possibly a wool blend as it is lightweight. Woven French tapestry of unknown age. Overall in excellent condition with no major signs of deterioration. Normal signs of wear to be noted. Scene depicts a forest with a single bird perched upon a tree stump. Deep colors of browns, navy blues, greens and grey. On reverse, the back has been left without a backing exposing the threading.
